O SOFT POWER COMO UM INSTRUMENTO DA POLÍTICA EXTERNA CHINESA E SUA ESTRATÉGIA NA ÁFRICA SUBSAARIANA
SOFT POWER AS AN INSTRUMENT OF CHINESE FOREIGN POLICY AND ITS STRATEGY IN SUBSAARIAN AFRICA

O enorme desenvolvimento econômico que a China vive nos últimos anos têm sido o pano de fundo para uma política externa baseada no soft power que se difunde em diversas regiões do globo, principalmente África e Sudeste Asiático. Tal política tem sido usada pelos chineses para suprir suas demandas internas de recursos primários, favorecimentos na Organização das Nações Unidas, maior adesão na política de “Uma só China”, bem como refutar a ideia mundialmente difundida de que o desenvolvimento chinês seria uma ameaça global. Através da política de soft power, a China procura afirmar que o desenvolvimento chinês é uma oportunidade de desenvolvimento mútuo e pacífico. Presente artigo pretende analisar essa estratégia chinesa bem como seus objetivos na África Subsaariana, maiores centros dos investimentos econômicos e culturais chineses nos últimos anos.Referências
